170 mm Diamond Fickert brush for stone ageing and finishing
High-performance 170 mm diamond Fickert brush for antiquing (ageing), satin and honed finishes on granite, quartz, porcelain and other hard or engineered stone. The diamond-loaded filaments keep cutting where softer abrasives glaze over, giving a uniform texture across the whole slab on automatic polishing lines and manual machines.
The 170 mm format covers wide slabs quickly and suits high-output automatic lines.
Available grits
24, 36, 46, 60, 80, 120, 180, 220, 240, 320, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200.
Low numbers open and texture the surface; mid grits refine; high grits build the satin sheen.
Recommended grit sequence
For a typical ageing / satin finish on granite: 36 → 60 → 120 → 240 → 400, without skipping more than one step. For a honed, matt look, stop earlier (around 120–240).

Format: Fickert base, 170 mm, fits standard Fickert holders. Abrasive: diamond filament. Resined: yes. Use wet or dry; run wet on the fine grits for a smoother finish.
Recommended materials
Granite, quartz, porcelain and other hard or engineered stone. For marble and softer stone, a silicon-carbide Fickert is usually the better choice.
